Coastal Storage Smithton info for new Tenants
Gate Access
Gates are remotely controlled via your smart phone. You will need to download the app “MyCentsys Remote” from your app store. Once we activate you online, you will be sent a one time pin via SMS. The app will ask you the area - obviously select “Australia” and also your mobile number. Please note to drop the “0” off the start of your mobile number.
Once you are activated, you will have 24-hour access to the Storage Facility. The main gate is on a 90 second timer that shuts automatically, and the exit gate has a sensor that will open automatically when you approach from inside, and then will close behind you. Please call 64521111 should you have any problems.
Payments
Payments must be made in advance. Should payments become overdue, a text message will be sent with a reminder that payment is due. Should rental payments exceed 7 days of the date it becomes due, then your gate access will be suspended until payment is rectified. If no attempt is made to rectify overdue payments, then the Landlord may enter the storage unit and sell any of your items to recover any loss, under the terms set out in the rental agreement.
Payments are preferred to be made by direct debit, the account numbers are noted on the rental agreement. Please use the code “CS (unit number)” i.e. CS52 as reference with your payments, so we can recognize you have paid once it appears in our account.
Vacating
When you intend to vacate your storage unit, we require a minimum of 14 days notice. Your security deposit will be returned to you once you have vacated. Can you please ensure that the unit is clean and tidily swept out and no rubbish has been left in the unit.
Damage
Any damage caused to the Storage units by the tenant must be reported immediately, and will be repaired by the landlord at the tenants cost. Please note the facility has CCTV for security reasons, and tenant’s movements may or will be recorded.
